German day

„My mini-project was called "German day" so I presented some German songs for the children and the Czech translation in the morning. After that we cooked a German pumkin-soup with sausages together and tried German candys in the afternoon. :)

Than I showed some photos from Germany to the class and tried to explain some differences to the Czech Republic. Moreover, I prepared some cards with pictures of 'German-Vocabulary' (for example: potato, football, Bier...) and I tried to teach the words to the class. In the end we played a memory-game with those words, which I drew before :).

In total, I really enjoyed my mini-project in the workplacement. The best part for me was to see the reaction of the children and seeing them enjoying the food, having fun playing the game or asking about my country!“ Luisa

 Hockey day

„At the "Hockey day“ in my placement we had the chance to meet a hockey player from Frýdek-Místek. The children tried on his clothes and played hockey in the school. It was nice to see them having a lot fun and for me it was also nice to get to know the national sport of the Czech Republic." Luisa

Preparations for Christmas

„We share a few pictures from Advent season at our school.  Our pupils created Christmas decorations with Luisa. We prepared a notice board and every morning when being together in a morning circle, we enjoy various activities and we are getting closer to Christmas.“ Marie, Luisa’s supervisor
