My experience as a Volunteer Ambassador!

We are still looking for a Volunteer Ambassador to join from September 2025! What is this experience like? Let´s read a story from our volunteer Mohcine:

"Hi everyone! 👋 I’m Mohcine from Morocco 🇲🇦, and I’ve just completed two amazing months as a volunteer ambassador with Intervia and Slezská diakonie. Looking back, I can honestly say this was a truly special experience - full of learning, discovery, and connection.

During my time as an ambassador, I had the chance to visit many cities and placements across Moravskoslezský kraj 🇨🇿. Each visit gave me a new perspective on the important work volunteers are doing. I saw how they spend their days, what kind of support they give, and how they bring joy and help to others. It was inspiring to see their dedication and creativity in action.

What made this journey even more meaningful was the opportunity to get to know the volunteers better 🤗. We shared not only ideas and experiences, but also laughs 😂, memories, and fun moments while creating content together 🎥. Whether we were filming short videos, preparing social media posts, or just talking about our cultural differences and daily life, I felt a real sense of community and friendship 🤝.

Through this role, I learned a lot - about communication, teamwork, creativity, and the impact of volunteering. It helped me grow not just as a volunteer, but also as a person 🙋.

I’m truly thankful for this experience and for everyone who made me feel welcome 🤗 and supported along the way. Being a volunteer ambassador showed me the beauty of connection, the power of shared stories, and the value of simply being there for others.
