Starting a new chapter - my first week as a Volunteer Ambassador at Betezda

In July 2025, we have welcomed our new Volunteer Ambassador – Mohcine! 💛 Let’s get to know him better:

Hey everyone! It’s Mohcine here. After finishing my volunteer service at the school in Ostrava, I’m super excited to share that I’ve just started a new journey as a volunteer ambassador at Betezda workplace. Honestly, the first week has been amazing – and definitely a fresh new experience for me!

When I arrived, I was warmly welcomed by the new team. They showed me around the whole facility and introduced me to everyone. I really appreciated how they took the time to explain all the important info about how the place works and how to interact with each client. That made me feel comfortable and ready to dive in. 🙌

One of the highlights of my first days was cooking some sweets together with the clients. It was so much fun! We also played games like Člověče and cards – the clients really enjoyed it, and honestly, I did too. These moments gave me a great chance to connect and build trust with them.

Towards the end of the week, we even went on a trip to a beautiful lake near Frýdek-Místek. It was a perfect way to relax and get to know everyone better outside of work. I’m really looking forward to learning even more from this experience and growing alongside the team and clients. 🤝

So yeah, that’s my start at Betezda! I hope to keep making a positive impact and sharing many more stories with you all as I continue this journey.
